How did you two meet?: It's not super magical, but we met through a dating app. However, our first date was very romantic. We met up and ended up talking and making each other laugh for hours. Something just clicked. We didn't really have to explain ourselves to one another, we both just knew that being with each other would be something different, something special.

How did you/they propose?: It was incredibly sweet. We took a weekend trip outside of Dallas and stayed in a cute little house. In the evening after dinner, Nikita asked if he could play a song for me on the guitar. He had spent weeks writing and memorizing a song about us. Afterwards, he asked me to marry him. Of course, I said yes.

What is love to you?: What a funny little word that encompasses so many things. Love offers, or is, maybe, an opportunity, to see another person wholly, and entirely. And to be seen in the same way. To get to witness the growth and journey of another human being, to experience life together, and to be lucky enough to offer support, compassion, and humor to one another along the way.
